Design:  Located adjacent to the Marina Bay Financial Center and Residential Towers, Central Linear Park provides an outdoor respite for both local workers and residents.  An intricate grid system is the unifying principle of the park, creating a rhythm and regularity among park features.  Within the grid, pavers of different sizes and finishes provide variety, and sections are pushed and pulled from the main horizontal plane to become planters, benches, water features and stairs.  Alternating bands of zoysia extend grid lines from the shaded perimeter gardens to the open green.

 

Role:  Adjusted and refined the conceptual program into a fully detailed set of construction documents.  Prepared presentation graphics, concept boards, and drawing sets for client review.
